In 2015, Fisher Arnold was awarded a contract to assess and inventory six sewer lift stations in the City of Memphis as part of their Sewer Assessment & Rehabilitation Program (SARP10), Administered by Black & Veatch. These lift stations were in the first year’s priority list to be addressed. In 2016, seven more stations were assessed. Fisher Arnold completed 71 more assessments. Our M/WBE partners for the contract were Powers-Hill Design and CHS Engineering. Each assessment consists of a full examination of each station including draw down tests, capacity analysis, determination of expected flow, electrical assessment, and rating the physical condition of all aspects of the station.
