Keith Budlong, Vice President at Fisher Arnold, and Alex Smith, General Manager at Humboldt Utilities, welcomed Tyson Foods to Gibson County Tennessee yesterday at a reception that followed Governor Bill Haslam’s announcement. Governor Haslam and Tyson Foods announced that the company will be creating 1,500 new jobs and investing $300 million in Tennessee.
The food processor will be building it’s newest facility in Humboldt. Fisher Arnold is currently working with Humboldt Utilities to provide the electric design services required to bring power to the new facility. Fisher Arnold’s electric department has been working closely with Humboldt and Gibson County on industrial development and make-ready efforts, including the recent relocation of a 69 kV line which formerly split the 250 acre site.
